French Bulldog

French Bulldogs are commonly known as Frenchies and easily identified with their “bat” ears. According to the American Kennel Club, Frenchies are known for their even disposition, smooth coat, heavy bone structure, heavy wrinkles, and short nose. Frenchies are usually playful, active, and alert without being uncontrollable. We personally think they are great for any person or family as they are affectionate, but do not require a lot of exercise

Every breed has health concerns, and it is very important for you to be aware of the most common Frenchie health concerns:

  • Breathing problems which are present in all flat-faced breeds (which is why we recommend monitoring exercise with your puppy to ensure over exertion doesn’t occur)

  • Cherry Eye

  • Juvenile cataracts

  • Skill allergies/Skin disorders
